A well made smoothie is like a party for your taste buds. The flavors should dance around in your mouth and make you feel happy and satiated. But a well crafted smoothie isn’t good for just your taste buds. Here are some of the other ways smoothies are beneficial:

“Green” smoothies are called such because they contain green leafy vegetables. They are alkaline in nature and that helps to balance the stomach’s acid and prevent heart burn and indigestion.
This is what comes to mind when most people think of healthy smoothies. Antioxidants are compounds which help remove waste from your system. Commonly and generally referred to as “vitamins”, antioxidants are essential to maintain life.
A well running system with that is properly hydrated and full of nutrition has time to look for (and destroy) invading organisms aka germs. Stay healthy by staying hydrated, getting the proper caloric intake, and ingesting the proper vitamins. Your immune system will run at optimal levels if you do.
